1. GENERAL

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made by consumers via ikiniswimwear.com (the “Website”), operated by:

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order or accepting delivery of any products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use this Website.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The version applicable to your order is the version published on the Website at the time of purchase.

2. PRODUCTS

2.1 Use and Responsibility

By purchasing from our Website, you agree to use our products in accordance with all provided care instructions and guidelines.

Our swimwear is crafted from carefully selected materials. It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not have any sensitivities or allergies to fabrics, dyes, or other materials used in our products.

You may not use our products for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, nor in a way that may damage the product, its quality, or the integrity of our brand.

2.2 Personal Use & Product Changes

All products, including samples, limited editions, or promotional items, are intended for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, replace, or discontinue any product, collection, color, material, or design at any time without prior notice.

2.3 Hygiene Policy (Swimwear)

Due to hygiene reasons, all swimwear must be tried on over underwear. Protective hygiene seals and tags must remain intact.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if:

  • the hygiene seal has been removed

  • the product shows signs of wear, use, or damage

  • the product is returned without original tags or packaging

This policy is strictly enforced to maintain the integrity and quality of our products.

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

3.1 Prices

All prices are listed in SEK (or applicable currency) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping fees and any additional costs are clearly displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

3.2 Payment Methods

We offer a curated selection of secure payment options, including:

  • Qliro

  • Google Pay

  • Shopify Payments

  • Swish

Payment is processed at the time of purchase via our trusted partners. Their respective terms and conditions apply.

3.3 Card Payments

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express (subject to availability). No additional card fees are charged. We do not store card details.

3.4 Qliro

Through Qliro Checkout, you may choose invoice, installment payments, or “buy now, pay later.” A credit assessment may be performed where applicable.

3.5 Swish

Swish payments are made directly via your bank and confirmed via Mobile BankID. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

4. ORDER AND CONTRACT

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:

  • suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions

  • incorrect pricing or product information

  • product unavailability

5. DELIVERY

5.1 Shipping

Available delivery options depend on your location and are presented at checkout.

Estimated delivery times within Sweden:

  • PostNord: 2–4 business days

Orders are delivered to your mailbox, door or nearest pickup point (for bigger orders). You will receive notification via SMS or email.

5.2 Unclaimed Parcels

Parcels must be collected within the specified time (usually 7 days). Unclaimed parcels will be returned to us, and we reserve the right to charge a handling and return shipping fee.

5.3 Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including carrier delays or force majeure events.

5.4 International Shipping

For international orders, customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.


6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

6.1 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive your order.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within this period.

6.2 Return Conditions

Returned items must:

  • be unused and in original condition

  • have all tags and hygiene seals intact

  • be returned in original packaging

You are responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise stated.

6.3 Return Process

To initiate a return, contact us at hello@ikiniswimwear.com with your order number. Further instructions will be provided.

You are responsible for the product until it has been received by us.

6.4 Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days after we have received and approved the return.

Shipping and payment fees are non-refundable.

6.5 Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please place a new order and return the original product.

6.6 Non-returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, swimwear with broken seals cannot be returned.

Sale items are considered final sale and may not be eligible for refunds. In certain cases, exchanges may be offered at our sole discretion.

7. COMPLAINTS

You have the right to submit a complaint within three (3) years under Swedish consumer law if a product is defective.

Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered.

If approved, we will offer an appropriate remedy, such as:

  • repair

  • replacement

  • refund

  • price reduction

We cover return shipping costs for approved complaints.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this Website, including but not limited to designs, images, logos, text, and graphics, is the property of Ikini Swimwear AB and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ikini Swimwear AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or Website.

10. PRIVACY

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
